Welcome to Brentwood
A suburb of Nashville, Brentwood has a population of over 40,000 residents. First settled by Native Americans, Brentwood hadn’t really begun to grow until the 1930s. At this time homes were being purchased and restored after the war and fox hunting and horses were becoming popular.
In 1969 Brentwood had finally become incorporated as a city. This was also the year that the interstate had been built in the city which inspired much of the area’s commercial and residential growth. Shortly after the Maryland Farms office complex was created there at the site of a former horse farm and race track.
Today, Brentwood has become an affluent community. The city is located in Williamson County which is the 10th wealthiest county in the United States according to Kiplinger.
